So my current trip to the beach inspired my second “Inspired.” post! I’ve been looking all week for the perfect shot to use. I thought I would find it in a beach umbrella, or an ice cream cone, or a big plate of fresh seafood – something beachy. Instead, the juxtaposition of this warm terra cotta house against the crisp blue sky really spoke to me. I hope you enjoy this color scheme as much as I do! It just warms my soul! So…enjoy…beach house turned wedding!

One of my best friends and photographer herself, Amber Anderson, tipped me off to this amazing website! http://www.design-seeds.com/ For photographers like us who pay VERY close attention to color and details this site is a color lovers dream! I seriously sat mesmerized scanning through the pictures on this site for eternity! Well…the site inspired me to do the same with my own photography but take it a little further. So…what you have below is the first installment of many! What I’ll do is take a picture of something that inspires me and use that to then create a color palate and then turn that color palate into the beginnings of details for a wedding! This is going to be fun! Would love to hear your thoughts on this first one! Pink and yellow and green are pretty popular wedding colors…I picked out the plum color to add a little bit of funk and differentness (bet you wouldn’t have thought of that without using this image as inspiration!) Stay tuned…I’ll branch out with some more funkiness soon!
