Traci and Steve had a small intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends and then celebrated afterwards with dinner at a restaurant. We were asked to capture the ceremony part of their day and couldn’t have been more delighted. They couldn’t have ASKED for a better fall day at gorgeous Pretty Place Chapel! The mountain views were to die for! Thank you for having us!

John & Courtney | Berry College and Belle Terra Wedding Photography | Rome, GA Wedding Photographer
June 28, 2014I spoke with a super sweet bride this morning that’s getting married at Belle Terra in Rome, GA and it made me realize I never posted these images of Courtney and John’s wedding day which took place at Berry College (my alma mater) and Belle Terra! They are some of my favorite images to date with the gorgeous (unique) colors she chose and his uniform…just so classic and elegant! I could have posted a million photos from this day, but I hope you love this little glance into their beautiful wedding day!

Whitney and Tyler are what you call “salt of the earth” kind of people…the kind that everyone loves and that kind that just light up a room. They are so smitten with each other and it’s totally obvious they were made to be together! I could have shared so many more images of their special day, but as always, I think I’ve gone a little overboard already. I hope you love getting a glimpse into their precious and oh so special wedding day! Congrats guys!

Christ the King & The Georgian Terrace Wedding | Atlanta GA | BerryTree Wedding Photography
March 30, 2014This was one of my favorite weddings of all time! Yes, it is impeccably gorgeous with every detail carefully thought out, but that’s not what made it so special. Whitney and Andrew are the kindest, sweetest souls you could imagine! Thank you both SO much for allowing me to capture your remarkable day! It’s one I won’t forget!

Roswell GA Bridal Portrait | Atlanta & Greenville Wedding Photographer | BerryTree Photography
January 11, 2014Torie is a pastry chef and likes the “different and unique” but is still a southern girl at heart! So we decided to split her bridal portrait session into two parts. Part 1 at an art gallery in downtown Roswell (Muse & Co. | Fine Art http://www.musecofineart.com/), and Part 2 at an old southern plantation home (Bulloch Hall http://www.bullochhall.org/)! The results were gorgeous! Enjoy!

Jeremy & Katy | The Reid Barn | Cumming, GA | BerryTree Photography
November 25, 2013Have I mentioned that I’m really behind on blogging? Well I am. In fact, I’m horrible at it. I am completely up to date on Facebook…I post sneak peeks of all of my sessions and weddings within 48 hours after shooting them, but for some reason I have a hard time keeping up with the blog. I posted the following on FB “Who wants to be next that I haven’t blogged yet?? First bride or groom to comment here…you’re it! Getting back on this blogging train!!” and well…Katy responded with “Ours! LOL” So…it’s been over a year since her wedding…but…here it is! Maybe consider it an anniversary post?? :-P Katy is a super sweet friend of mine that I met through church. For 2 years we were able to “do life together” and enjoy the pleasures of becoming intimately involved in each other’s lives through our single women’s small group. And now…we are both MARRIED women! It was such a blessing to capture this sweet friend’s wedding day! Enjoy!

Stephanie and Mark’s wedding was extra special for me. Why…because Stephanie and I have known each other since high school! Yep…we met 17 years ago! (Wait! How did I get to be 32 again? HS seems like it was just yesterday!) Stephanie and I both played flute in the marching band! She and Mark also met in HS and got engaged after 12 years of dating!! All of their friends and family were more than excited to see this wedding day come to life! One of my favorite things about Stephanie’s wedding is that she incorporated a slight “Alice in Wonderland” theme into her day…check out their images below and see what all you can pick out! Thank you so much for having me guys! It was a real honor to get to capture your day for such longtime friends!

Exciting Announcement! | BerryTree Photography | Expanding to Greenville, Asheville, and Charlotte
February 5, 2013I am so so super (like I want to go celebrate with a big bowl of moose tracks ice cream and maybe even a party hat) excited to announce to you that BerryTree Photography is expanding to encompass Greenville, SC, Asheville, NC and Charlotte, NC as part of our wedding collections. What does this mean? Weddings in these locations will no longer incur travel fees! I am currently working on branching out to local vendors and planners in these areas to let them know about my new service offerings, but if you happen to know anyone in these areas that is engaged, I would LOVE if you would pass along the information! This is such an exciting time for BerryTree Photography…thank you for the ongoing and continued support!!

Izak & Nadia | Married at Dunaway Gardens | Newnan, GA | BerryTree Wedding Photography
January 9, 2013Izak and Nadia both moved here from South Africa…she in 2000 and he in 2001. Izak is the country mouse, and Nadia the city mouse. When Izak arrived in the US, Nadia was asked to show him around town and the rest is history! I just loved this wedding! Not only did Nadia and Izak create so many of the lovely details themselves (including the STUNNING backdrop to get married in front of) they encorporated a bunch of little South African touches as well including signs with Aafricans, protea (the national flower of South Africa), his mother’s amazing South African dessert, a crazy crowd roaring speech, and a rugby ball to toss the garter! Such a fun wedding that I’ll never forget! Enjoy!
