Brittni and Joby just moved here from AZ and decided it was the perfect time to get some much needed pictures of the two of them in their new environment!  They wanted GA woods and nature...and we found it here at Sope Creek!  This was an unbelievably fun shoot hiking through the woods and hunting for the best locations!  It was great working with you two...be of luck in your Georgia adventures!

Wow!  I got so crazy there for a while that I forgot that I never shared the images from the sessions at the Braves stadium!  These images will be used by the Braves in both online and print marketing materials - how cool!  Here's pictures from my family session...aren't they just adorable?  Pictures of the engagement session to come!

First of all...let me start by saying how incredibly humbled I am!  I (me! BerryTree Photography!) have been asked by The Atlanta Braves and Turner Field to shoot some promo images for them!  How cool would it be to have pictures of you and your loved ones taken at the field?  Awesome right?!  Well...Turner Field thinks so too and is starting a campaign to let more people know that this is an option (you can even get married there!)  So...they've asked me to take some pictures that they can use in their promotional materials both online and in print. Here's where you come in!  We'll be doing two shoots.  An engagement session and a family session - and I need models!  Please see below for details and if you meet the criteria and are interested, please let my know via an e-mail titled "Braves" sent to sarah@berrytreephotography.com by THIS Friday, February

Last night I was watching "19 Kids and Counting".  I know that many people can't stand that show and think that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are crazy for having so many children.  Well, I admire them.  In a world today where so many choose to find the best way to fit in they have chosen to stick out, to be different, and to trust that God will provide for them.  While yes, 19 kids might be a bit extreme for most, they understand that children are a blessing from God - a true gift to be cherished!  That's why I LOVE photographing families so much.  Capturing the interaction and love between families feeds my soul.  So...what is this post about you might ask?  Well...last night on "19 Kids and Counting" Michelle talked a lot about having a servant's heart that looks for opportunities to serve others.  Well...it struck a nerve

Well...2010 was a pretty amazing year for BerryTree Photography!  I officially left my corporate job in August to make BerryTree Photography my full time career and everything has been amazing since then!  I got to shoot a wedding in Maine and was also flown out to shoot a wedding in San Diego - how cool that this photography job (that I LOVE) allows me to travel to some amazing places!  I've had AMAZING clients and really...just a fabulous year!  So...I meant to do this in early January...but...the last day of January will have to do!  Some of my favorite shots from 2010 (in no particular order)!  I hope you enjoy!  Sarah

I have some catching up to do on blog posts so you might see a few new sessions posted over the next couple of days!  I think the cold and impending snow today made me want to post this session!  I took these back in the fall but the flowers and warm hues just make me smile and warm my heart! Plus you can't help but smile at a sweet couple expecting their first baby!  Enjoy!

Ok ok...so I know the title to this post is a bit quirky and weird...but...I promise...what it says is true - Dr. Seuss is smart! Why?  Because of this quote: "I’m glad we had the times together just to laugh and sing a song, seems like we just got started and then before you know it, the times we had together were gone." You know who else is smart?  Yep, my friend Amber - whose gorgeous family is pictured below. (www.amberandersonphotography.com)  Why is she smart?  Well...she'd probably argue that she's smart for a lot of reasons (because she is definitely a smart aleck like that!) but...one of the main reasons that she's smart is because she GETS this quote - wholeheartedly - and embraced it for this session!  Amber understands, that the moments we have with our kids are fleeting...they are only going to be this little for a while...and when you blink your
