I am so so super (like I want to go celebrate with a big bowl of moose tracks ice cream and maybe even a party hat) excited to announce to you that BerryTree Photography is expanding to encompass Greenville, SC, Asheville, NC and Charlotte, NC as part of our wedding collections.  What does this mean?  Weddings in these locations will no longer incur travel fees!  I am currently working on branching out to local vendors and planners in these areas to let them know about my new service offerings, but if you happen to know anyone in these areas that is engaged, I would LOVE if you would pass along the information!  This is such an exciting time for BerryTree Photography…thank you for the ongoing and continued support!!

This my friends was one of my favorite engagement sessions of all year! Aram and Hunter trusted me with their photos, we had remarkable, gorgeous light that evening, and Emory University provided the perfect backdrop for some incredible images!! I hope you love these as much as I do!

John and Courtney are SUCH a sweet couple and I had a blast shooting with them at one of my favorites…Berry College! They have so much fun together and I loved capturing the sweet (and silly) looks they give each other! Can’t wait to photograph their wedding this year! Enjoy!

Aaron and Laura are one of those couples that you meet and instantly fall in love with. They are so in love with either other and their relationship is founded in the love of Jesus…what could be better?! Joy truly radiates from them! Laura wanted to do something special for Aaron…(since a lot of guys don’t love having engagement pictures taken)…so she asked me if we could take them at his alma mater…Auburn University! Of course I said yes! It’s a gorgeous campus and I LOVE shooting any place that is “new”! We had so much fun exploring the campus, drinking amazing lemonade, throwing leaves….enjoy!

I LOVE clients like Aaron and Erin! Besides their adorably cute matching names, they were up for anything! Erin e-mailed me and said they wanted something “different” for their engagement session and that they trusted me and the sky was the limit! I started out by asking about them…what they liked to do, what excited them, etc. One of the things that Erin told me is that they loved to wander around the farmer’s market and cook together. So…an idea was spawned! We met at Madison Produce (the CUTEST little market in downtown Madison, GA) for some shopping and then head to Madison Oaks Inn and Gardens where the amazing innkeeper Cheryl let us take over her gorgeous kitchen! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do…they sure put a huge smile on my face!

When I met with Jenna and Matt to talk about their engagement session they said…”We are easy going, fun loving, and trust you!…if there is anything you’ve been wanting to try for a while…we are your couple!”  So…off to the fair we went!  I had been DYING to shoot at the fair for quite a while!  Man did we have fun with this sessions!  Jenna’s ring in cotton candy is just so SWEET!  haha…pun intended!  No really…it’s one of my favorite ring shots ever!  There couldn’t have been a more perfect couple for this shoot…they were giggly and happy the whole night!  Just the way you should be at a fair!  Hope you love their images!

I was so excited to shoot Jackie and Bryan’s engagement session!  Piedmont Park is THE location for shoots in the Atlanta area.  I had never shot here before as I typically have clients that want a more rustic look, but Bryan and Jackie are getting married at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park this fall, and wanted to shoot their engagement session here as well!  I was so glad they did!  We had a fabulous time wandering around the park together and stoping wherever we found good lighting and pretty scenery!  We got a great idea of awesome areas to shoot on their wedding day and came away with some gorgeous images of Jackie and Bryan including some with a gorgeous city skyline view!

Rachel was a bridesmaid in another wedding I shot, and when it came time for her wedding, she called me!  That’s the ultimate form of flattery for someone in this service oriented profession…so Rachel…thank you!  Rachel and Andrew met at GA Tech, so what better place to do their engagement pictures!  We had a blast exploring the campus together!  Enjoy!

Nadia and Izak are some of the coolest people I know!  They are both from South Africa…she moved here in 2000 and he moved here in 2001.  When Izak arrived, Nadia was asked to show him around town and introduce him to some people and they have been inseparable ever since!  Izak is the “Country Mouse” and Nadia the “City Mouse” however, despite their differences, it is obvious that they are perfect for each other!  They had dreamed of doing their engagement session in Charleston because they love the city so much, but didn’t know how to make that work.  Well…luck would have it that I happened to be in Charleston for my little brother’s wedding.  So Nadia and Izak came on out and we had a blast shooting around the city!  These two are getting married in 2 weeks…so you’ll see more of them soon!  Enjoy!

Beautiful couple and beautiful light.  Not much more that needs to be said really.  Shari and Travis are SO in love with each other – it radiates through in photos.  They are one of those couples that you know without a doubt that they were made for each other.  Just a few…taken along the side of the road while standing on the sidewalk.  You don’t need much…beautiful light and a couple in love and you’ve got a work of art!  Enjoy!
