Not to totally rub it in for all of my readers right now…but…I just HAD to share this picture I took this morning at the beach. I am here for a solid week and so far loving and cherishing every minute of it! It’s incredibly amazing to me to look out at the water and soak in all of God’s creation…just wow! I’m cherishing every second of my time here and just wanted to share a bit of it with you!View / Edit Comments
Brittni and Joby just moved here from AZ and decided it was the perfect time to get some much needed pictures of the two of them in their new environment! They wanted GA woods and nature…and we found it here at Sope Creek! This was an unbelievably fun shoot hiking through the woods and hunting for the best locations! It was great working with you two…be of luck in your Georgia adventures!2 Comments »
Jesse and L’Shea are SO fun! They are just a vibrant couple that radiate happiness and love – gotta love working with people like that! L’Shea’s favorite color is PINK! Every time I met with her from our initial consult to our final planning session she has been covered head to toe in pink…her outfit, her nails, her purse…so…it was absolutely NO surprise to show up to a completely pink wedding! Of course…there was a *tiny* bit of yellow thrown in in honor of Jesse and his Alma Mater – Georgia Tech…and a surprise exit vehicle PERFECT for the groom! Enjoy the images! Jesse and L’Shea…love you both and I’m so thankful I got to be part of your special day!
**Special thanks to Jennifer Boggett who flew all the way from Ontario, Canada to help me shoot this wedding – seriously…could I have more amazing friends!? You were an amazing help Jenn and I appreciate you more than you know! Thanks again darling!**
sigh…details…they just make me SO happy!
ready for the wedding to begin and looking FABULOUS!!7 Comments »
So…I think this is going to be the longest post E.V.E.R.! First of all…I just love these two. Amanda is one of the absolute sweetest people you will ever meet. You can tell from her smile the moment you meet her – she just beams of happiness and joy! As she was leaving her wedding I got the privilege to be the last one to say goodbye to her and she told me that she appreciate everything so much and that she wanted to stay in touch and hang out! Seriously the sweetest compliment I could ever get from a bride. How blessed am I to be able to say Amanda is not merely my client but my friend. Awesome. Not to forget Nick…Nick is one of those guys that will do anything for his bride – whatever makes Amanda happy. His eyes beam with pride every time he sees her and he didn’t once complain about pictures…he knew they were important to Amanda and hence – they were important to him. Gotta love that! Ok…I’m going to stop rambling now as this is about to be the most pictures I’ve ever posted. I just couldn’t stop! So here you go…enjoy. Many blessings to you both Amanda and Nick! (and Amanda…I look forward to a lunch date soon!)
P.S.~ I was creating this blog post at almost 3am last night and forgot to mention a HUGE special thanks to my buddy and awesome photographer Amber Anderson for flying all the way from Washington to shoot this wedding with me! I LOVED having you along! I only wish we lived closer and could shoot together more often – we are an amazing team! Love you girl and thanks again so much!
LOVE this gift Amanda gave Nick! Cuff links with both of their hometowns on them…so cool!
sigh…the details of this wedding were GORGEOUS!

Wow! I got so crazy there for a while that I forgot that I never shared the images from the sessions at the Braves stadium! These images will be used by the Braves in both online and print marketing materials – how cool! Here’s pictures from my family session…aren’t they just adorable? Pictures of the engagement session to come!

One of my best friends and photographer herself, Amber Anderson, tipped me off to this amazing website! http://www.design-seeds.com/ For photographers like us who pay VERY close attention to color and details this site is a color lovers dream! I seriously sat mesmerized scanning through the pictures on this site for eternity! Well…the site inspired me to do the same with my own photography but take it a little further. So…what you have below is the first installment of many! What I’ll do is take a picture of something that inspires me and use that to then create a color palate and then turn that color palate into the beginnings of details for a wedding! This is going to be fun! Would love to hear your thoughts on this first one! Pink and yellow and green are pretty popular wedding colors…I picked out the plum color to add a little bit of funk and differentness (bet you wouldn’t have thought of that without using this image as inspiration!) Stay tuned…I’ll branch out with some more funkiness soon!9 Comments »
Yesterday I got together with some other local photographers and had a blast shooting just for the fun of it (love you girls!) I thought this image that Ashley caught of me taking a picture was fun and decided it would be neat to pair it with the resulting image! Just sharing! Thanks for the action shot Ash – it makes me look so official! :-) More images from this day to come…so stay tuned!
