I think my wedding would look something like this…vintage, eclectic, a little country, colorful and yet romantic all at the same time….totally me!  Just a little daydreaming on a Sunday night…sometimes I wish I could be a wedding photographer/planner/florist all in one…I just LOVE all of the little details that go into a wedding.  Picking a color scheme and just making everything “go” and flow and represent you and who you are as a couple.  Ahh…weddings…they just make me smile!

Well…what can I say….this place was beautiful!  A few photographer friends had told me about this spot, so I decided to check it out on my own and drag Carrie and Shawn there for their engagement portraits!  Where is this garden of paradise?  it’s Wakoola – a water garden supply store in Cumming, GA.  They are so so sweet there and just have the most awesome place for all of your water garden (or engagement portrait!) needs!  Definitely go check them out!  I had to include a few of the nature pictures I took with Carrie and Shawn’s engagement pictures…because I just had too much fun taking them!  Carrie and Shawn are getting married on September 25th, so I’ll be back with wedding photos in not too long!  Looking forward to the big day you guys!  Enjoy!

My little bro’s wedding…sigh….  Between Andrew getting married and Alex graduating from UGA two weeks later, we are all officially “grown ups” now!  My how time files!  I still remember the hours of wrestling, building forts in the woods, riding our bikes down the Tremonte Lane hill as fast as we could go without holding on, clearing off the pond and ice skating in the woods and so many other fond memories.  But…now we are all grown up.  And what a blessing that is!  God is god, and God provides and God has blessed Andrew and our entire family with his amazing new wife Weslyn.  Girl, I am so happy that you are now a part of our family!  Not only do you help even out the girl vs. boy score, I can tell already that we are going to have many many years of fun, memories, and sister to sister chats!  Here are a few images from the “getting ready” stage of the wedding!  There are so many great images that I want to post that I’m going to do this in stages.  So for tonight….here is Round 1!  Enjoy!

I am working on adding a way to comment to my blog through Facebook…way fast and easy…cool huh?  Just checking to see if this is working…let’s hope so!  I’d love if you leave a comment for me (and say a prayer that I got this to work correctly!)

The Blair Family – love these guys and love the images we were able to create together!  There is something about the warm evening summer sun that just makes me smile!  These portraits exude that warmth – and not just from the sun.  I love that it is so evident in these images just how much they love each other – happy families make me smile!   Madelyn and Lily are precious as always!  Hope you guys love your portraits!

This is the second time I got to take pictures of sweet Miss Madison!  We took her newborn pictures a few months back and now she is almost 7 months old!  Wow…time flies by fast!  Is she not the most adorable thing ever!  I just love her baby chub…so perfect!  Thanks mama for putting up with the heat tonight to get these shots!  You and Madison were both troopers!  I hope you love your sneaks peeks!

What a fun session!  These two were up for anything and we had some fun and tried a few “different” things.  This session ran the gamut – from fun, playful, and quirky, to romantic, sexy and just simply gorgeous!  Jeff and Tori, it was a pleasure hanging out with you too tonight!  Thanks for sticking with me through the rain and mugginess!  I hope you agree that dealing with today’s weather was well worth it for these images!  I hope you love these sneak peeks…I’ll have the rest to you shortly!  Can’t wait for you wedding…it’s going to be torture waiting until next July!  Stay in touch until then!  Love, Sarah

Berry College is quickly becoming my most requested place to shoot…you can see why huh?  Amazing campus!!

seriously you two…you’re HOT!  This MUST be a canvas…and LARGE in your home!

yep…they are pretty happy to be getting married!  :-)

Jenny is a great friend of mine and is due with her 3rd girl!  I met up with her and big sisters Molly and Abbey for a little photoshoot tonight at Kennesaw Mountain.  The girls are so excited to welcome their little baby sister Audrey into the world!  Here’s a quick sneak peak from our session tonight!  I can’t wait to get to do Audrey’s newborn pictures soon!  Jenny…you look amazing and I’m so glad we got a chance to document this special time in your life!  Enjoy!

These sweeties belong to a good friend of mine who is moving to Texas.  So sad to see you go, but I’m so glad we got to get in a quick photoshoot before you left!  I hope you treasure these pictures forever.  Your girls are just precious!  Enjoy!

This is Bodhi.  Isn’t she a sweetheart??  I love her blond blond hair!  I was a blondy like this when I was little…my hair was bleach blond and wispy and straight.  Now, its dark, thick, and curly…  Crazy!  Anyway.  Bodhi is one of my baby planners!  I did pictures with her mamma when she was pregnant, then newborn pictures, and now she is 7 months old – crazy how fast they grow up.  I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek!  Bodhi is gorgeous!
