After much thought, prayer, and consideration, I have decided to expand this one wo(man) operation and add an intern to the staff of BerryTree Photography! (This is scary for me…but SO exciting at the same time) BerryTree Photography has grown so much over the past 4 years, that I am now at maximum capacity and could really use some help. The unpaid internship position is a part-time position (10-15 hours per week) and is located at my home office in Lawrenceville, GA.

Kathy & Mike | Destination Wedding Photographer | Portland, OR | BerryTree Photography
October 15, 2012I’ve known Kathy from an online forum for the last 8 years. We’d never met in person, but Kathy told me that she loved my photography and that some day she’d get to meet me because she was hiring me if she ever got married! Seeing that Kathy lives in Portland, OR and I live in Atlanta, GA (total opposite all the way across the country from each other) I was hopefully but figured it would be a long stretch to actually make it happen. Imagine my surprise when Kathy contacted me, said she was newly engaged and the only thing she could think about was making sure I could come shoot her wedding…what an honor!
Kathy and Mike’s wedding was gorgeous, but what I remember most about their day was the amount of love that was EVERYWHERE! These two are one special couple…and along with their boys…they have a mighty special family! One of the neatest things about their day was that they included a Persian ceremony to honor Kathy’s heritage! It was so unique and just perfect! Ok…enough from me. Let’s let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy!!

Premium Album | BerryTree Photography | Atlanta, GA
October 2, 2012One of my favorite parts of my job is delivering couple’s wedding albums! Albums are one of those things that if you don’t just go ahead and get one in your wedding package, you most likely will never do anything with the images…and they’ll sit on a CD forever! Who can testify to this? I know MANY of you can! It’s so rewarding to see the story of the couple’s day all laid out in a gorgeous album custom made for each couple! Just makes my heart happy! I hope you enjoy this little peak at Matt & Jenna’s album!

Inspired #3.
October 1, 2012I haven’t done one of these in forever…and today I was inspired by these adorable tangerine bottles from Trader Joes! I decided to base a whole wedding palate off of it. I think these blue/greens and oranges would be the perfect way to have a twist on the normal orange/red/brown you typically see for a fall wedding. What do you think?
