Well…2010 was a pretty amazing year for BerryTree Photography! I officially left my corporate job in August to make BerryTree Photography my full time career and everything has been amazing since then! I got to shoot a wedding in Maine and was also flown out to shoot a wedding in San Diego – how cool that this photography job (that I LOVE) allows me to travel to some amazing places! I’ve had AMAZING clients and really…just a fabulous year! So…I meant to do this in early January…but…the last day of January will have to do! Some of my favorite shots from 2010 (in no particular order)! I hope you enjoy! Sarah

So so excited to share this with you guys! This is a custom keepsake image box filled with 200 of your favorite images from your wedding day! Wow! This is SOOOO cool! Our first time being featured on a wedding blog! Alex and Danielle’s Winter Engagement shoot was selected by wedding blog Valley & Co. to be a featured engagement session on their blog! Yay yay yay!! Ok…now that you’re done celebrating with us go check out what they had to say about Alex and Danielle and our fab time in the snow! While you are there…hang out for a while and check out the rest of their site…they have some amazing weddings and inspirational ideas to share with you!
Snowpocalypse (n.): an extreme winter blast in Atlanta, GA producing 5-6 inches of snow covered by 1/2 inch of ice causing the entire city to be shut down for 4+ days and creating massive amounts of cabin fever.
So what do you do when you have been stuck inside for days and are bored out of your mind? You get creative and go outside and take pictures! Alex (my little brother) and Danielle got engaged on December 23rd and were sweet enough to join me on this crazy adventure for engagement pictures in our winter wonderland! These two are just adorable and obviously so in love! I didn’t have to tell them twice to cuddle up close – it was COLD out there…but so worth it for these gorgeous shots! I am so excited you two are getting married and can’t WAIT for the wedding! Love always.
You gotta love images that just make you smile. You know…all you have to do is look at them and they bring back sweet memories and grins from ear to ear! These pictures do that for me! I posted about this session below…but it was a stylized session with some amazing photographer friends of mine out in Washington state. The memories of creating these images, to seeing how amazing they turned out, to my friend Kim and her husband so in love…makes my heart just smile! I hope you love them as much as I do! (oh yeah…and I made that bouquet! I LOVE how it turned out…maybe I missed my calling as a florist!)
um yeah…that’s a LOT of pictures! I told you they make me smile…I couldn’t pick!
I have some catching up to do on blog posts so you might see a few new sessions posted over the next couple of days! I think the cold and impending snow today made me want to post this session! I took these back in the fall but the flowers and warm hues just make me smile and warm my heart! Plus you can’t help but smile at a sweet couple expecting their first baby! Enjoy!
Who knew I would ever get so excited about business cards??! I just got these in the mail this week and I’m so thrilled! They are gorgeous and I can’t wait to hand them out to everyone I know! Just wanted to share their lovely-ness since they make me so happy I thought they might brighten someone else’s day as well!
